I dont believe in that "oh we're all going to die at 2012" thing. It didn't happen on 6/6/06 so why should it happen then?

i do believe in the end of the world, but no one knows when it will happen. people try to predict it, but they really don't know. hopefully, we can make it to 2012 or past that.

People have been saying the world is going to end since the world began. Remember Y2k? It is easier to just not worry about it, if the world doesnt end than YIPPEE! But if it does, it would (hopefully) be so fast that nobody would even know.

I mean how long was that ancient calander supposed to go? Those people had no means of making an infinate calendar! Or no reason too.

i do think that the world will have to end.Just not in 2012. It has to end. Scientifically and religiously. Both ways suggest the end of the world to come eventually. The timing in religious ways in not given, though it says there will be signs. Scientifically, it should end in about a billion years, because of runout of resources. According to scientists, the earth was a part of the sun which "broke off" and slowly living organisms came to being. And like everything in the universe- "All good things come to an end"

The world has to end eventually most probably not in 2012 more like in a hundred years if were lucky

I dont believe , i expect it to happen but i got good news for you! its not the end that comes , but a change ! you see right now what is happening around the world , earthquakes , hurricanes , burnings , the warming of the poles all at once , that is actually the arth cleaning itslef up from all the crap we have put into it before 2012 . You humans , had more privileges and powers of the mind in the atlantis times , but withyour actions , you humans showed you did not deserve such powers and they were taken away from your race. Now the time will come for an opportunity to be whole again . During the 2012 period there is going to be some pain , but thats just what one needs to go through before you are filled with something new. Dont hesitate to know what is this thing , but do the best you can do do right now in the present . Dont let yourself by taken by the powers of evil .Try to stay with a fit , and good body , mind and spirit and the process would be easier for you!

" It is supposed to end " . It is supposed only by superstitious people . The end of the world has been predicted every few years from the stone-age on .
When one predicted end passes , another one is dreamed up . Naturally , with many signs , omens , etc. to back it up .
This would be a much better and more content world if only people would drop all of their superstitions .
Any prediction for what's coming years from now , is only a guess . Nobody can predict the future with any accuracy , they can only guess .

Well I try not to get caught up in the hype. Who told you that the world is going to end in 2012. This is the first I'm hearing of this. What make you think that world is going to end then anyway? Remember the big hype that came with the Y2K (bringing in of the new millennium) and the big Y2K bug. Last I checked I was still alive. If the world was going to end, I'd think that the 06/06/06 Would have been the perfect time don't you. However, I do believe that the world is goin to come to an end eventually. I'm not saying that it's gonna be soon. I'm just going with what I read in the bible.

The world will end yes, in 2012 maybe maybe not. Maybe the prediction the Mayans were showing was that their civilization would fall before 2012, and they were right on. spooky.

I believe that the world will end when Jesus Christ comes back. Nobody knows when the world will end. Anybody who says they do are just guessing.

I think that when the world ends, it won't be due to any "supernatural" or "religious" reasons.
It will be because of the following 3:
#1 We'll all nuke each other and destroy each other
#2 Natural Disasters/Meteor crashing
#3 If this planet still makes it through all that, someday the sun is going to die. Even the sun won't last forever. When it goes, we go.

this is the exact same thing that happened in the 90's.... people thought the world was going to end for no reason when the y2k had arrived...but did it, the world will end someday, but most likely not in December 2012... for all we know it may be a great day for our world...
